Pennsylvania residents can apply for grants to help with home heating bills through April 10, according to Peoples Gas.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides income eligible people with one-time grants for heating bills whether they rent or own their homes.

Pennsylvanians earning up to 150% of the federal poverty level — $38,625 for a family of four — are eligible. The minimum grant this year is $200.

The federally funded program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Residents can apply online through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Access to Social Service website.
