If you’re already starting to think about what you’ll get everyone for Christmas this year, you might want to consider adding the city of Pittsburgh to your list.

The Forestry Division of the Pittsburgh Public Works Department is looking for a resident who is willing to donate a giant evergreen for the city to display as its Christmas tree this year.

The tree needs to be between 40-feet and 60-feet tall.

City workers will come to your house and pick it up. It will be delivered to the City-County building along Grant Street in Downtown where it will be displayed through the holidays.

Anyone interested in donating a tree from their property can call 412-665-3625.
