Pittsburgh is on the hunt for the city’s 2019 Christmas tree. In this photo from 2016, workers from the Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Department of Public Works stand at the ready as the city’s Christmas Tree is lowered into it’s base at the City County Building, Saturday. The tree that year was donated by Andrew S. Sujdak and Nancy S. Ruttner, of Greentree, who received the tree as a wedding gift 33 years ago.

If you’re already starting to think about what you’ll get everyone for Christmas this year, you might want to consider adding the city of Pittsburgh to your list.

The Forestry Division of the Pittsburgh Public Works Department is looking for a resident who is willing to donate a giant evergreen for the city to display as its Christmas tree this year.

The tree needs to be between 40-feet and 60-feet tall.

Our Forestry Division needs your help!

Do you have a 40’ - 60’ evergreen on your property? We’re looking for #Pittsburgh’s 104th Christmas Tree! We’ll pick it up and deliver it to the historic City-County Building.
