Pittsburgh first responders saved an infant in cardiac arrest Saturday in the city’s Hill District, authorities said.

Authorities responded at about 7 p.m. to a home on Bedford Avenue in the Middle Hill for a report of a 1-month-old in cardiac arrest, according to Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri.

Togneri said medics reversed the cardiac arrest, and the infant’s pulse restarted. Medics transported the child to UPMC Children’s Hospital.

The child suffers from “multiple serious medical conditions,” Togneri said.

Police are investigating. No charges have been filed.
