Pittsburgh food bank drive-up distribution set for next week

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host another drive-up food distribution on Monday.

The distribution will take place from noon to 3 p.m. at the food bank in Duquesne. Each vehicle will receive two boxes of food. The food bank will be able to serve up to 1,000 vehicles at this distribution. Attendees will not be required to fill out a registration form to receive food.

Those attending are asked to arrive no earlier than 11 a.m. and to follow safety guidelines.

  • Individuals must stay in their cars at all times, except when using outdoor restroom facilities.
  • After pulling into “distribution row,” individuals must put their vehicles in park and unlock the trunk or back door for food to be loaded by volunteers.
