A Pittsburgh man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the city’s Sheraden neighborhood.

The slain man was Clarence Thomas IV, 18, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was pronounced dead by medics at the scene in the 500 block of Sherwood Avenue, near Bergman Street.

Pittsburgh police responded at about 10 p.m. to a Shotspotter alert in that area.

The second man, whom police didn’t identify, was wounded in the arm and was taken to a local hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.
