Pittsburgh man sentenced to nearly 5 years in federal prison on cocaine charges
A Pittsburgh man convicted of cocaine possession was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison.
Brian Horvath, 48, was ordered to spend 57 months in jail followed by three years’ supervised release by U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab, authorities announced Thursday.
Horvath was one of several people indicted in an alleged drug conspiracy in March 2018.
Authorities said he conspired with others around September 2016 through November 2017 to posses with intent to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
Stowe Township police assisted in the investigation led by the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force.
