The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said a man found dead in Collier on Sunday took his own life.

The death of Stuart Hayman Hunt, 36, of Pittsburgh was ruled a suicide.

His body was found Sunday morning next to Chartiers Creek below an Interstate 79 overpass in Collier Township, officials said.

The medical examiner’s office said Hunt died of blunt force trauma to his trunk and extremities. The highway overpass is about 40 feet above where Hunt’s body was found, officials said. Allegheny County police said his injuries were consistent with jumping or falling from a height.
