Pittsburgh police are searching for a man they believe shot and killed another man and wounded a teenager during a fight on Memorial Day, authorities said Tuesday.

Jalaspian ‘Jay Bird’ Charles, 32, should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. May 27 on Chauncey Drive in the city’s Hill District.

Investigators believe a small fight escalated into gunfire. A 15-year-old girl and 34-year-old Isaac Harrison were shot. Harrison died at a hospital, police said. The teen’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Police described Charles as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was bald at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
