Pittsburgh residents can report potholes during patching blitz

Pittsburgh public works crews will be patching potholes over the weekend.

City officials said residents can report any potholes by telephone or through an online request form.

Crews will work citywide from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The city plans additional patching on Monday.

City residents can report potholes by dialing Pittsburgh’s Response Line at 311 or (412) 255-2621. They also can fill out the online form.

Dan Gilman, Mayor Bill Peduto’s chief of staff, said pothole complaints have decreased dramatically over 2019. He attributed that to mild winter weather and an increase in the city’s paving budget.

“The roads are in much better shape, and I think all drivers notice it, but there are still rim busters out there and we need to make sure we’re filling those in,” Gilman said.
