Pittsburgh Technology Council will conduct a live online video interview with Dr. Louis Falo, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine researcher who’s leading a team developing a coronavirus vaccine.

The meeting, hosted on Zoom, is part of the council’s “Business as Usual” series, which features live daily calls with local and national notables who are involved in the battle against the virus.

Monday’s interview with Falo is scheduled for 1 p.m. Those interested in participating can preregister online at pghtech.org.

Falo grew up in Southwest Greensburg, playing football for Greensburg Catholic High School before going on to the University of Pittsburgh and Harvard Medical School.

He’s the chairman of dermatology at Pitt’s School of Medicine. His team’s efforts to create a vaccine have garnered national attention.

An archive of past “Business as Usual” casts is available at pghtech.org.
