Pittsburgh woman dead in Peters Township crash

A Pittsburgh woman died after crashing into a tree in Peters Township, Washington County, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Sara E. Adams, 67, crashed on the 600 block of East McMurray Road just after 5 p.m., according to Washington County 911.

She was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, where she was pronounced dead around 6:45 p.m.

The cause of the crash has not been determined.
