The City of Pittsburgh’s free summer food program for kids kicks off June 17 at more than 75 sites.
The program, which provides free breakfast, lunch and snacks to children 18 and younger and adults with intellectual disabilities, runs until Aug. 23.
Last summer, more than 142,000 meals were served through the program. Funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
