PNC Park opened its doors Saturday morning to firefighters and members of the public participating in the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Stair Climb put on by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Participants climbed 2,200 steps — simulating the 110 stories of the World Trade Center in New York City where 343 firefighters perished responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
