A man was injured during a shooting Friday in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood, according to police.

The shooting happened shortly before 10 a.m. on East Warrington Avenue, said Public Safety spokeswoman Alicia George.

Police said the man was in his car in the parking lot near East Warrington and Walter Street when someone approached and opened fire.

The man was shot in the shoulder, George said. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
