Police, family seek public's help solving 2016 Homewood homicide
Pittsburgh police and the family of a Homewood man shot and killed three years ago are asking the public for help in solving his homicide.
Raekwon Epps, 20, was found shot multiple times in the 800 block of Brushton Avenue in Homewood, where police were called just after 4 a.m. on Aug. 13, 2016.
Epps had been sitting in a chair outside of a building.
Police said there were several witnesses.
Epps’ mother, Lisa Epps, is pleading with anyone who has information about her son’s death to come forward.
“Raekwon would want justice for his family members… for a stranger, or for a friend,” Lisa Epps said, according to police.

His stepmother, Rosalind Williams, also said they want justice.
“If anyone knows anything about the death of Raekwon, please come forward,” she said, according to police. “Raekwon’s absence in our lives has really taken a toll on our family.”
