Police investigate shooting in Northview Heights

Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in Northview Heights on May 18, 2020.

A man is in critical condition Monday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in Northview Heights, Pittsburgh police said.

Officers responded just after midnight to a ShotSpotter alert in the 400 block of Mt. Pleasant Road.

Police said the victim is an adult male. He was taken to a local hospital.

Mt. Pleasant Road remains closed while police investigate.
