One man is in custody and another is being sought after the Tuesday morning robbery of a Downtown bank, Pittsburgh police said.

The robbery was reported to police at 10:43 a.m. at the PNC branch in the 200 block of Fifth Avenue.

A man approached a teller and passed a note demanding cash while also threatening the teller, police said. It isn’t known if the man was armed, but he made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect, who wasn’t identified by police, was apprehended shortly thereafter, police said.

Another man, described by police as a person of interest, is being sought, police said.
