Police looking for Subaru suspected in Homewood hit-and-run crash

Pittsburgh police are looking for a 2011 to 2012 brown Subaru Legacy that matches the car in this stock photo provided by police. The car is suspected in a hit-and-run crash Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, in Homewood that put a man in the hospital in critical condition.

Pittsburgh police Tuesday released new information about the car suspected in a hit and run crash Monday in Homewood.

Police are looking for a 2011 to 2012 brown Subaru Legacy with damage to the left side from hitting a man.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash happened at about 4:40 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Fifth and Frankstown avenues. Medics found the man unconscious in the crosswalk. The driver fled the scene.
