A man with several gunshot wounds was found behind a residence in Pittsburgh’s South Side Slopes on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded around 6:15 a.m. to a Shotspotter alert of multiple rounds fired in the 2300 block of Cobden Street, according to Pittsburgh police.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police said the private residence was being rented out to guests through Airbnb. Officers learned a gathering or party was taking place during the night that extended into the morning hours.

Three people were detained for questioning and are not considered suspects at this time, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate.
