A man is hospitalized after being shot multiple times in Mt. Oliver.

Allegheny County police said they were called to assist borough officers with a shooting incident around 3:40 p.m. Monday along the 200 block of Anthony Street.

Emergency responders found a man along the 100 block of Church Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body.

Police said the man was taken to a hospital in critical condition. No further information about the victim or possible suspects was released.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting can call the county police tip line at 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
