Police: Man shot multiple times in Wilkinsburg

A 36-year-old man was shot multiple times shortly after 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Marlboro Avenue in Wilkinsburg, according to Allegheny County police Inspector Andrew Schurman.

The man, who wasn’t identified, was taken to a hospital where he was in critical condition, according to Schurman.

Allegheny County police’s homicide unit is assisting Wilkinsburg police in the investigation, Schurman said.
