Police: Man stabbed in back in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, no arrests made

Police are investigating a stabbing Monday afternoon in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, officials said.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., police received a report of a man who had been stabbed in the back in the 700 block of Webster Terrace, Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri said.

The injured man was able to walk and talk when responders arrived, according to Togneri.

Medics took him to a nearby hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.

Officials did not identify the victim nor provide further details about what may have happened.

No arrests have been made.
