Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers and the Allegheny County Police Department are asking for the public’s help in a murder investigation.

Investigators are looking for information on the death of Brian Kelly “Popcorn” Dalton, 26, of Pittsburgh.

They’re offering a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the killers.

Dalton’s body was found about 7 p.m. Nov. 12. in a drainage ditch along Beechford Road in Penn Hills, shortly after neighbors reported hearing shots. He was shot several times, police said.

Dalton was last seen around 1 p.m. that day, according to police. Friends and family members said they had tried to contact him throughout the day, but he never responded.

Investigators found surveillance footage showing a light-colored SUV driving down Beechford Road moments before the shooting.

Anyone with information concerning this homicide is asked to call Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers at 412-255-8477. Callers may remain anonymous.
