Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood on Monday afternoon, officials said.

A man wearing dark ski glasses, a ball cap and dark clothing entered the Citizens Bank branch on Fifth Avenue shortly before 2 p.m., Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said.

Once inside, the suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash, Cruz said.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described the suspect as about 35 to 40 years old, bald with a moustache and about 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7 inches tall.

Detectives continue to investigate.

Anyone with information can reach Pittsburgh’s Zone 4 police station at 412-422-6520. Callers can remain anonymous.
