Pittsburgh police are seeking help to identify this man who they said threw objects at officers during a Downtown protest on May 30.

Pittsburgh police are seeking help to identify five people they said threw objects at officers during a Downtown protest on May 30.

Some also are suspected of burglarizing and damaging businesses during the event at Fifth Avenue and Smithfield Street.

Police provided the following descriptions of the individuals and their alleged offenses:

• A man with a bicycle, a tattoo on his upper arm and wearing a black shirt threw multiple objects at police.

• A man with a gray shirt and long black shorts hurled projectiles at police as well as burglarized businesses and broke store windows.

• A bald man with gray shorts, dark colored T-shirt, dark zip jacket and green scarf threw multiple objects at police and burglarized a liquor store.

• A man in a two-tone hooded jacket and dark pants threw glass bottles at police.

• A man wearing a red shirt and tattoos on both upper arms threw beer cans at officers.

Anyone with information about the men is asked to email the Damage Assessment and Accountability Task Force at daat@pittsburghpa.gov or call 412-323-7800 and ask for the task force.

Callers can remain anonymous.
