The Damage Assessment and Accountability Taskforce said they believe the man struck and pushed a horse from the Pittsburgh Police Mounted Unit during a demonstration that took place Downtown on May 30. The task force is comprised of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Authorities released two images of the man. His face is partially obscured in the photos by a mask.
