Allegheny County Police seek public assistance in identifying a homicide suspect.

County detectives and Wilkinsburg police are investigating the shooting death of 16-year-old Marcus Wells Jr. of Pittsburgh.

He was shot several times near the intersection of Laketon Road and Robinson Boulevard at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

County police on Friday released surveillance footage of a man wearing a dark-colored hoodie, dark shoes and brandishing a black handgun.

Anyone with any information on the incident can call the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
