Pittsburgh police arrested two people early Sunday after a brief standoff at a Lincoln-Lemington home.

When police responded to multiple Shotspotter alerts at about 12:20 a.m. near Lincoln Avenue and Lyric Streetthey noticed an idling vehicle at the intersection of Laxton Street and Odessa Place.

The area is at the border of Pittsburgh’s Homewood and Lincoln-Lemington neighborhoods.

The two people inside the vehicle ran away when they saw the officers, police said. At least one of the people was spotted running into a nearby house on the 6700 block of Deary Street.

SWAT officers and negotiators were called after the man refused to come out of the house. The two individuals were eventually arrested without incident following a brief standoff, police said. Police didn’t name them.

No one was injured, nor were any shooting victims found, police said.
