Police: Woman who went missing and was thought to be in West Mifflin found safe

A woman thought to be in West Mifflin who was reported missing from San Francisco has been found, West Mifflin police said.

Dawn Manson was last seen in California, and West Mifflin police over the weekend reported that she might be in the area. She wasn’t, police said.

She was found safe, according to a post Tuesday evening on the West Mifflin police Facebook page.

“According to her family, Dawn Manson has been located and is safe,” the post read.

It wasn’t clear where Manson was located, but West Mifflin police told the Tribune-Review that they confirmed the information from the San Francisco Police Department.
