Pittsburgh police detained two juveniles early Thursday morning after a woman reported one of them fired a gun at her on Mt. Washington.

According to police, officers went to a convenience store on Bailey Avenue just before 12:20 a.m. for a report of a person who was shot at in a different location.

A woman told officers she had confronted several young people who were trying to break into vehicles in the 40 block of Ruth Street when one of them fired a shot at her.

The woman was not hurt.

The woman gave police descriptions of the possible suspects, after which police detained the two juveniles, whom she identified.

No further information was released, and police said they were continuing to investigate.
