Pittsburgh Brookline, Milliones schools to get deep cleaning after possible exposure
Pittsburgh Brookline and Milliones schools will receive deep cleaning this week after the district announced students at the school may have come in contact with the coronavirus.
A relative of students who attend Pittsburgh Brookline is believed to have covid-19, Pittsburgh Public Schools announced Tuesday.
The district notified families of the potential exposure last week and closed the school for deep cleaning. The district was told Tuesday that a Pittsburgh Milliones student may have been indirectly exposed, as well.
Both schools will receive deep cleaning with the district’s electrostatic machine this week. All public schools in the state have been closed since Monday.
As a precaution, Grab and Go lunches will no longer be distributed at either school. The meal service will be relocated to the Tree of Life Church for Brookline students. Due to low attendance, the service at Milliones was set to close this Friday.
