Rep. Conor Lamb wishes happy birthday to 100-year-old aunt from safe distance
U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb and a few family members wanted to wish their aunt a happy 100th birthday, but with the coronavirus outbreak they had to keep some distance.
So according to a post on his social media, Lamb and members of his family, with the help of the staff at the home where she resides, were able to sing “Happy Birthday” to her from a safe distance.
Lamb posted a video of the event to his Twitter and Instagram accounts on Saturday.
“My Aunt Patsy turns 100 today,” Lamb wrote on his post. “We had to postpone her party, but the great staff at Fair Oaks helped us let her know that we’re all thinking about her & celebrating with her today. We’ll be celebrating together on the other side of this, Aunt Pat.”
