Round Hill Spray Park is reopening on Friday after having been closed for a week, the Allegheny County parks and health departments announced.
The Elizabeth Township spray park had been closed since Aug. 2 because bacteria levels in the water exceeded Health Department regulations.
The system was drained of water, cleaned and refilled with fresh water, which the county said was “super-chlorinated” to sanitize all plumbing and fixtures.
ACHThe Allegheny County Parks and Health departments announced today that the Round Hill Spray Park will reopen to the public on Friday, August 9.
