If you like to scare people, Kennywood needs your help.
The West Mifflin amusement park is “recruiting for new creatures of the night to deliver frights to visiting guests” for Phantom Fright Nights this fall.
Kennywood is looking to hire roughly 200 seasonal team members for its rides, food and beverage, games and retail, and scare actors.
A new haunted house will open as part of the Fright Nights attraction. Also, visitors can see the feature short “IT: The 4D Experience” in the 4D theater. The short film is based on the 2017 remake of the classic Stephen King novel.
The new Steel Curtain roller coaster will also be running during the event, which opens Sept. 27 and continues Fridays, Saturdays and select Sundays through Oct. 27.
“We are honored to see Phantom Fright Nights nominated as one of the nation’s best Halloween theme park events,” said general manager Jerome Gibas in a statement. “Each year we want to create a unique and fresh experience for our guests. We’re look forward to the thrills and scares creeping your way this fall.”
