Legendary Motown singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson will appear Dec. 8 at Lumaze, the indoor holiday lights festival.

Legendary Motown singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson will be in the spotlight on Sunday.

He will visit with fans from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Lumaze Pittsburgh, the indoor holiday lights festival at the 31st Street Studios in the city’s Strip District. Tickets for the Lumaze event with Robinson are $99.95.

At Lumaze, guests can attend a meet-and-greet with the singer, including an autograph signing, and receive a signed bottle of Smokey Robinson Wine, which he launched in 2018 with Lawrenceville-based Engine House 25, according to a news release.

It’s not the only stop for Robinson, who will appear at a wine tasting fundraiser for The Neighborhood Academy on Monday evening. Proceeds from that will be used to provide scholarships for students at the private, faith-based college preparatory school in Stanton Heights.

Guests of The Neighborhood Academy event will have an opportunity to sample three wines in the Smokey Robinson line. Each are named after songs he has sung over the years, including a “My Girl Red Wine” and a “Being with You Pinot Noir.”
