Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown failed to show up in court Tuesday for a summary trial related to a reckless driving charge, court records show.

His no-show led to a disposition of guilty for the reckless driving charge, which carries a fine of $200.

The hearing was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Richard Opiela in West View.

The reckless driving charge came in November, the morning before the Steelers took on the Carolina Panthers. A Ross police officer patrolling McKnight Road after a bank robbery spotted Brown’s black Porsche speeding south near Babcock Boulevard.

Police said Brown was driving more than 100 mph.

Brown was hit with the reckless driving charge a month after it was reported that he is facing a pair of lawsuits in Florida. The suits allege that Brown threw furniture from a 14th floor balcony of a housing unit that nearly struck two people on the ground, including a toddler.

The building’s landlord also filed suit against Brown for damages to the furniture and apartment estimated at $100,000.

The mother of Brown’s child, Wiltrice Jackson, filed a police report last month after she claimed Brown pushed her to the ground when she blocked the doorway to his Hollywood, Fla., home. The dispute happened about 11 p.m. on Jan. 17, and it centered around Jackson demanding repayment for their daughter’s earlier hair appointment.

Jackson refused to press charges and railed at police when they said charges could be filed if more evidence appeared, according to the report.

The incident spurred Brown to file for full custody of the child, his attorney said at the time.
