To mark its second anniversary in Braddock, Superior Motors will host a “street food” party.

The 5 to 11 p.m. July 30 celebration at 1211 Braddock Ave. will feature foods from chef Kevin Sousa’s past, according to party planners, including burgers, hot dogs, poké and tacos.

Since its establishment, the restaurant’s highlights include appearances in Time Magazine, showcasing its Smoked Potato on the Cooking Channel’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” and a feature on the late Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown.”

Friends of the restaurant also are contributing to the celebration, with Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream setting up an ice cream float bar (spiked and spirit-free), the ‘Ga’hed Cuz’ (Pittsburghese for “Go ahead, cousin”) speakeasy bar, a cigar lounge, live music from DJ Selecta, Beauty Slap and Hill Jordan & Slide Worldwide, plus the second annual August Fetterman water balloon toss.

Admission is $45, vegetarian options available.
