Suspect sought in Pleasant Hills bank robbery

Authorities are trying to identify a man who robbed the Dollar Bank branch Monday afternoon in Pleasant Hills.

At about 1 p.m., a man entered the Dollar Bank branch at 500 Clairton Boulevard, handed a note to the teller demanding money and left the bank on foot with an unspecified amount of cash.

The FBI’s Pittsburgh office and Pleasant Hills police are trying to identify the man. The described him as white, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a reddish brown wig and wearing a green hat, sneakers and jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery should contact the FBI Pittsburgh at telephone number 412-432-4000. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
