I-79 in Robinson reopened after early morning tractor-trailer wreck

An early morning tractor-trailer wreck along I-79 near Robinson shut down a northbound lane of the highway Aug. 3 .

A northbound lane of Interstate 79 in Robinson was closed for several hours Monday morning because of a tractor-trailer crash, according to PennDOT.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. 0.6 miles south of Exit 64, which is the Coraopolis/McKees Rocks exit.

No injuries were reported.

Both travel lanes were reopened shortly after 7 a.m. after emergency responders up righted the vehicle, which lost its rear axle when it flipped onto its side, according to state police.
