Sunday marks one year since the Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Squirrel Hill.

Jewish organizations in Pittsburgh and the region will hold commemoration events throughout the weekend, culminating with a community gathering at 5 p.m. Sunday at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. The website Pause with Pittsburgh allows those who cannot attend to sign up to receive a text message at 5 p.m., the start of the scheduled service at Soldiers & Sailors.

The Pause with Pittsburgh website is pausewithpittsburgh.com.
