Traffic backups remain during the morning commute on Route 28 southbound after a three-car accident on Monday.

An Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said the crash, which happened near the Fox Chapel exit, was cleared by around 9 a.m. and no one was injured.

Traffic cameras showed traffic was still backed up near RIDC Park after the crash was cleared.

Traffic was also backed up on Route 51 outbound for much of the morning. Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported a tractor-trailer’s cab disconnected between the West End Bridge and the Parkway West around 6:30 a.m., blocking one lane.

Traffic appeared to be flowing smoothly by around 9:20 a.m.
