Two teens shot in Stowe in stable condition, no suspects
Two teens shot Friday evening in Stowe are recovering at local hospitals, police said.
Stowe police responded to reports of gunfire at the 700 block of Benwood Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Allegheny County officials said officers discovered an 18-year-old male shot in the face. He was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
Police and paramedics received a second call to the 800 block of 7th Street for a male shot.
County officials said emergency responders found a 16-year-old male victim shot multiple times. The victim was transported to an unnamed hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Allegheny County Police Homicide detectives also responded to the scene. Both males were shot in the 700 block of Benwood Avenue, police said.
Officials said no suspects have been identified and the motive remains unclear.
