The legal implications of the 1994 Rwandan genocide will be discussed during a free lecture sponsored by Duquesne University’s Center for African Studies and School of Law.
“Law and Healing: Lessons from the Rwandan Genocide” will be presented by Maria Wilson, judge of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Union Ballroom.
Wilson is a former trial lawyer who worked in the Office of the Prosecutor of the United Nations’ International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.
