VisitPittsburgh's campaign 'Pull Up a Chair. You are Welcomed Here' garnering awards
VisitPittsburgh’s “Pull Up a Chair. You Are Welcomed Here” campaign has been named a Gold Winner in the destination marketing campaign category of the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards and chosen as a finalist for the 2019 PRNEWS digital awards in the WOW Campaign category, according to a news release.
“This is a campaign unlike any we had done or had seen in the industry,” said Tom Loftus, chief marketing officer for VisitPittsburgh in a statement.
The campaign was created in-house.

The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards pay homage to travel professionals who prove themselves as standouts in destination marketing. According to the release, with 30 different award categories, the 2019 PRNEWS Digital Awards honors cutting-edge digital performance in the public relations industry. Winners will be announced on Oct. 18, during a breakfast event at the Yale Club in New York City.
VisitPittsburgh is the official tourism marketing and promotion agency for Allegheny County.
