The Pittsburgh International Auto Show is Feb. 18-21 at the David Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown.

After stalling last year, the Pittsburgh International Auto Show is rolling once again.

“We are so happy to have the show this year,” said Lisa McIntyre, CEO of Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Association, host of the event. “It is always the perfect opportunity to see what’s new in automobiles from around the world.”

The David L. Lawrence Convention Center will pack in 400 to 500 cars, trucks and other vehicles Friday through Monday.

Auto manufacturers will be displaying the latest safety features, technology and design.

The show was canceled last year because of the pandemic. McIntyre considered having a virtual event, but it was challenging to get enough manufacturers lined up, she said, because of supply-chain issues and the chip shortage that affected production and, in turn, inventories.

This year, there will be 22 auto makers represented, a little fewer than usual. Some will be occupying more space than in the past, so there will plenty to see from Chevrolet to Toyota to Volkswagen. Luxury brands include Maserati, Lincoln, Lexus, Acura and Mercedes-Benz.

There will be a display from the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix with cars and high-end classic vehicles.

There will also be a scavenger hunt. P3R, the Pittsburgh-based company that organizes races, events and health and fitness program, is hosting a 20-yard dash.

Duquesne Light Company’s Electric Avenue will be a place to take a ride on an indoor track. There will also be 12 Stellantis-Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat and Ram vehicles available for test drives through Downtown, and a Ford Bronco simulator.

Pittsburgh Heli, a helicopter tour agency, will have a helicopter display on the first floor.

The show will feature a collaboration between Amazon Web Services and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania for the DeepRacer Experience. Attendees can work with Amazon engineers to create a blueprint used to guide a mini autonomous car around a track that will be constructed as part of the exhibit.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday

Tickets are available here. Prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military and $6 for children 6-16. Children under 6 are free.

A free shuttle runs from Gold Lot 1 at Heinz Field on the North Shore.
