Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting Friday evening in Sheraden that left a teen wounded, in stable condition.

Officers responded to a SpotSpotter alert for more than a dozen shots fired around 6:15 p.m. on the 3000 block of Landis Street, where they found a 14-year-old boy who’d suffered a graze wound to his shoulder. Medics transported him from the scene.

Witnesses told police a vehicle approached the teen, then a passenger got out and began chasing after and shooting at him, according to Pittsburgh Bureau of Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri.

The investigation is ongoing.
