Pittsburgh police issued an alert for the public in connection with the arrest of Pittsburgh man on multiple counts of sex offenses involving minors.
Donald Sickler, 39, of the city’s Greenfield neighborhood, was arrested July 15 and charged with more than a dozen counts including rape, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, indecent assault, incest of a minor and corruption of minors, according to court records.
The incidents allegedly occurred December 2014.
Sickler was released from jail after posting a $100,000 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing on Aug. 6.
Detectives from the city’s Special Victim Unit are asking the public to contact them about “any other possible victims who might have been harmed by him” or if they have information about the incidents for which Sickler was charged. Investigators can be reached at 412-323-7141.
Sickler also is awaiting a jury trial on nearly two dozen sex offenses involving a child that were filed in October 2019 for incidents that allegedly occurred in June 2012.
Sickler is scheduled to stand trial on Dec. 13 on multiple counts of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of child, indecent assault of a child under the age of 13, false imprisonment of a minor and other related charges.
