A 19-year-old man was killed Saturday evening and two others were hurt when gunfire broke out during a baby shower in Pittsburgh, according to police and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

City police said they were called to a location on Broadhead Fording Road in the Fairywood neighborhood at 6:15 p.m. where the shower was being held. There were six to seven shots reportedly fired. The address is associated with the Salvation Army Westside Worship & Service Center.

Police said three people had been shot:

• Antoine Elijah Devon Dorsey of Pittsburgh died at the scene.

• the second person was taken from the scene to a hospital in critical condition.

• a third person, who was found at a home on Glen Mawr Street in Sheraden, was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police processed evidence at the scene and detectives are looking at surveillance video as part of the investigation.

Fairywood is near Crafton and Ingram in the city’s west side.
