A child is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood, police said.

Crews responded to the 1300 block of Paulson Avenue around 8:10 p.m. where they were directed to a boy sitting in the road, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews. The child suffered a leg and head injury.
